Lil Wayne – “Krazy”

Following suit in Carter V, Lil Wayne packs this album full of ingenious metaphors and classic punchlines. He completely loses his mind lyrically for FOUR full verses giving the full song a playtime in excess of 6 minutes!

Carter V is produced by Infamous, which is the same label accredited to Carter III: “Mr. Carter”, Wayne’s bestselling album yet. The label kept most of the details surrounding the Carter V album and its release as secretive as possible in an effort to surprise even Lil Wayne’s most involved hardcore fan base.

During a talk with Mel Smith on Valentine’s Day, he states the album is very close to dropping and is an incredible album, that won’t disappoint fans. On the very next day, February 15th, in his hometown of New Orleans, LA, Lil Wayne joined Drake on stage at the House of Blues. They performed various hits together before announcing publically the anticipated release date of Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) for Carter V. After a delay in release, the single “Krazy” was released via L.A. Clippers All-Star Point Guard, Chris Paul’s Twitter account. This release comes just one day behind this year’s NBA Draft, which to say the least was “Krazy”!

While there are no current release dates for this album, other singles have dropped out of thin air like “D’usse” and “Believe Me” which features vocals from Drake. Here are quotable lyrics from both “Believe Me” and “D’usse”, how do you think they compare?

Quotable Lyrics from “Krazy”:

And all we sell is the greatest feelin’ on Earth
They paint me as a villain, I just autograph the artwork
Ain’t got nothing left to prove unless I got to prove it in court
Live fast die young and leave a beautiful corpse, yes Lord

Quotable Lyrics from “Believe Me”:

Lord knows I’ll murk one of these niggas, yeah
His and hers Ferraris, nigga
One for me, one for my daughter, nigga
Waitin’ for someone to test me like a Harvard nigga
I tote a 223, two Michael Jordans, nigga
Come and fight these shell cases like a lawyer, nigga
Find out where you stay, and act like we found some oil, nigga
Out of duct tape so when he prayin, I ignore the nigga

Quotable Lyrics from “D’usse”:

Here we go, bitch I’m cool, Coolio
She say “Tune, do me slow”
How many fish did Hootie blow? I don’t know
Fuck who knows?
I got a red bone with two golds
And she snort too much of that Michael Jackson
That bitch gon’ need a new nose
